The first scene shows Sauronitholestes langstoni, a small North American theropod closely resembling the more famous Velociraptor. Errors in this image include claws on the wing & foot that are woefully short (the actual claws should extend FAR beyond the preserved bone).
In the second scene, a mother T. rex guards her chick as it drinks. The integument shown (large proto-feather coating) now seems quite unlikely, in light of recent findings.
Vibrant risograph printing is accomplished by passing paper through once for each colour, with the use of stencils. This sometimes results in off-set prints and small smudges - in other words, the prints have all the flaws of hand-made art!
Gryposaurus was a Late Cretaceous hadrosaur that likely had a preference for wet coastal environments.
This illustration is part of a completed research project for the Royal Ontario Museum’s paleolab - fossil illustrations were also part of this project, but will not be uploaded until the research is published in 2019.

These four Ceratopsid dinosaurs are loosely inspired by moth and butterfly patterning. Triceratops by a Common Buckeye, Protoceratops by a Garden Tiger, Styracosaurus by a Scarce Swallowtail, and Wendiceratops by a Chinese Moon Moth.
The designs were also made into a line of pins, available at 252mya.com

The Bas-Lag series of books by China Miéville means a lot to me, so I put aside some time to illustrate a Slake Moth, the antagonistic monster from Perdido Street Station.
There are two versions of this print, with black vs violet ink.
These illustrations were made for a black & white monster-themed zine put together by Julian Miholics. Camera trap photos make me deeply uneasy, so the idea was mythological creatures (a harpy & a manticore) captured unintentionally on trail cams.
